Tretinoin is a prescription topical medication used to keep the skin pores clear. Find out the right dosage for adults and children. Remember that side effects may occur when you use this medication such as upset stomach, dizziness, and changes in skin color. If you are not very much into topical medicines, here are some tips to fight off acne:

  • Do not pop or squeeze your pimples. This will lead to scarring and infection.

  • Pull your hair away from your skin when sleeping.

  • Shampoo regularly especially if you have oily hair.

  • Don't sleep with your makeup on to avoid clogging and breakouts.

  • Clean your face gently. Astringents are not recommended unless you have oily skin.

  • Avoid sunburn or suntan.

  • Choose your cosmetics carefully.

  • Wash pillowcases regularly.
