Cream Eye Shadow - What a Girl Wants
One of my favorite make-up accessories is eyeshadow, especially cream eye shadow. Of all beauty products, eyeshadow, for me, was the hardest to muster since it took courage to experiment with different colors and to know what sort of style would enhance my eyes most. Cream Eye Shadow - A Few Tips on Application While eye shadows are frequently used to contour and shade the eye and to make them seem mysterious, they are also intended to lighten and brighten up eyes to make them appear bigger. By practicing, a girl can achieve the sort of look she wants to project through the different uses of color and eyeshadow blending techniques. Actually it is pretty much like art. Some eye shadows come in powder, liquid, and cream form. I usually use powder eyeshadow but I also experiment with cream eye shadows since they can be used either singly or as a base under powder eyeshadow to make the colors last longer and to make them more intense. Because I don't have deep-set eyes, I want my eyes to appear with more depth so I usually choose subtle colors. I use a lighter shade of eyeshadow from the inside corner of my eye and ever-so lightly blend to a darker eyeshadow color at the outer corner. This technique will make my eyes appear bigger and more balanced, so to speak. Then I use a light-colored eyeshadow to highlight my upper eyelids and accentuate my eyes. Sometimes, if I'm in a hurry, an eye cream shadow in, say amber, will do the trick. Just glide a bit of color on my lid, blend, and voila! I'm ready to go. Just add a flick of mascara and a dash of lip gloss. World, here I come! See our reviews for more on [ cream eye shadow ] |
