Cosmetic Brushes - Enhance Your Make up
Can you imagine applying your makeup without using cosmetic brushes? Not only would you have a hard time dong it, but your cosmetics beauty products won't look as good as you want them to on your skin. There's no way you can achieve that professional, polished look without the right brushes, so here's a low down on the different brushes you should use for your different beauty products. Cosmetic Brushes - Different Strokes for Different LooksUse a foundation brush to give a natural finish to your cream or liquid foundation. After dabbing the foundation at the back of your hand, you can use the foundation brush in a downward motion, and feather at the jaw and hair lines. You can also do this for applying cream cheek color. Foundation brushes that have synthetic bristles are preferred over those with natural hair or sable, as the former soaks up less foundation, which keeps your foundation from being wasted. For concealer brushes, use a small tipped detail brush of synthetic or sable bristles. Use this brush to apply a small amount of concealer on a blemish. A good concealer brush should be narrow at the tip for accurate application, and wider at the base for easy blending. The bigger the blush or powder brush, the better. Brushes with a wide dome shaped head can be used to apply bronzer or blush, followed by a translucent face powder. Using a brush to apply loose powder can give a sheer effect. For your cream or powder eye shadows, a sable eye shadow brush is best, as this can absorb and apply the right amount of the cosmetic. This brush can also be used for highlighting the brow bone using a pearlized or light-toned matte shadow. Eyeliner brushes are best used for defining the top and bottom of the eyelids. Use brushes made of sable when using a powder liner, and use brushes with synthetic bristles when using liquid liners. For a fuller pout, use a lip brush to outline the lips. You can also use the lip brush to get a smoother look using darker shades or matte, and to apply gloss. Lip brushes are usually made of stiffer synthetic brushes to allow for more control. Be sure to dust off all make up from your brushes after every use and to wash it with shampoo or brush cleaner at least once a week. This will ensure that your brushes last longer and will stay free of contaminants. See our reviews for more on [ cosmetic brushes ] |
