There is such a wide variety of lotions out there that it would probably be better to create a 'theme' instead of just grabbing bottles of lotions and trying to (futilely) arrange them as a gift set or something. If the receiver is a dear friend or somebody close to you, then you can simply make a gift set composed of his or her favorite lotions. If the receiver is not so close to you then, it's safe to go for more generic lotions as gifts since you don't know if the person is allergic or hates the smell of rose, lavender, vanilla, etc.
