Skincare Products for Children - Going for Natural Skin Care
As parents, you probably wouldn't want to just try out any of the skincare products for children that are available over the counter.
You would even be more careful about baby skin care, as babies are more prone to skin problems if not cared for properly. You may then want to use natural ingredients for your children's skin care. Better yet, you can make these skin care products yourself!
Bathing
Babies don't really get that dirty, so for a simple bath solution you can use, mix a half cup of sweet almond oil with the contents of a Vitamin E capsule.
Next, add a teaspoon of calendula oil and stir until the mixture is blended. You can store the mixture in a sterilized container. To use, put two tablespoons in the baby's bath and disperse.
Afterwards, gently massage the remaining oil on the baby's skin.
Another bathing solution you can use for any type of itch requires putting oatmeal into a muslin tea bag, which you then ad herbs to if preferred. To use, soak the tea bag in the tepid water-filled tab for five minutes before going into the tub.
Itch Reliever
Keep your babies from scratching to prevent infections. Here's a skin care remedy you can use.
Mix one ounce of witch hazel with four drops of tea tree oil, to which you add four drops of lavender, chamomile or orange essential.
Next, pour the mixture into a sterilized glass container and shake until the solution is mixed well. To use, apply the liquid on the itchy spots.
Teach your children about proper skin care even while they're still young, so that it becomes a habit for them.
