Facial Exercises for Your Eyes

Facial Eye Exercises

Your belly and your arms are not the only part of your body that you should exercise. You should do the same for your face too!

At least ten minutes of daily facial exercises are recommended in order to prevent premature aging of the face. They help tone facial muscles and aid in keeping skin taut. As such, they are great wrinkle free skin care routines.

Age, the elements, dieting, and stress can make the face look a lot older and can cause wrinkles to appear much earlier. So think of a facial exercise as an inexpensive face lift. That's good enough motivation to start doing it!

The thinnest and most fragile skin found on the body is the skin around the eyes. Wrinkles and bags in this area can cause you to look older. Following are easy facial exercise routines focused on your eyes.

  • Sit down and try to relax; close your eyes and then lift your eyebrows and stretch your eyelids as far down as possible. Repeat 5-10 times.
  • Press two fingers on each side of your temples. Start opening and closing your eyes rapidly. Repeat this facial exercise 5 times.
  • Sit down, try to relax and keep your eyes open. Lift your eyebrows while closing your eyelids about halfway. Open your eyelids wide until the white of your eye shows over your iris.

You may feel funny doing these eye facial exercise routines but you'll soon feel relaxed doing them. Don't forget, they are great ways to achieve wrinkle-free skin around your eye area.
