Private label cosmetics are brands of cosmetics specifically owned by a retailer. For example, this can be a supermarket item bearing the store's brand name or label. Private label brands can also be a line of a variety of items for exclusive distribution, usually priced lower than manufactured brands to appeal to customers who are price conscious. On the other hand, some private label cosmetic products are more expensive because they appear to be more exclusive.
