Beauty care product testers, even those that have private labels, are readily available for sampling so use them to determine if the texture or consistency suits you. To know if a product is of good quality, make sure it doesn't have that rancid smell, or isn't too crumbly (as is the case with pressed powder). Check to see for color consistency and smooth coverage application.
